March may have us all wearing green for St. Patrick’s Day, but shades of green are all the rage everyday for 2022!
The paint company, Sherwin Williams, selected Evergreen Fog (SW 9130) as their Color of the Year for 2022. Benjamin Moore (1495) has announced another green tone, October Mist. Sherwin Williams describes Evergreen Fog as “a versatile and calming hue of gorgeous green-meets-gray with a bit of blue.” Meanwhile, Benjamin Moore describes October Mist as being, “harmonious yet diverse, reliable yet whimsical, and meditative yet eclectic.”
Both of these colors can be used to create a natural and calming interior. It is the quiet foil to some contrasting bold color choices like black or oil rubbed bronze lighting or bathroom fixtures. Balance is something we are all craving these days and these colors are a great starting point.
