I am totally loving both new rooms. You have no idea how you have changed my life – in such a good way. The little bedroom isn’t even done yet but I am already enjoying the whole back of the house. Re-doing all of these rooms is my one self-indulgence.

We recently decided to do some redecorating in our home.  We chose to call on Valerie Ruddy of Decorating Den, who has done a great job for us in the past, to assist us.  We decided to move my husband’s home office to a smaller bedroom in order to free up the larger bedroom for guests.  Valerie and her excellent team worked with us to come up with a comprehensive plan that fit our budget and met our needs. Her hands on approach meant that she was here with us every step of the way.  As a result, we have a beautifully decorated guest room with new carpet, paint and window treatments.  The smaller bedroom was maximized to provide as much space as possible for my husband’s office… We loved working with Valerie, and are really pleased with her work. I would highly recommend her.

Thank you so very much for the gorgeous room you have created for our little sailor 🙂 We appreciate that you were able to work with some of the existing elements in the room and match everything so perfectly to create his own little cabin. We put up the bed guards and after he was sound asleep we left and believe it or not he slept through the night all by himself for the first time in exactly 18 months 🙂 Thank you! Thank you! My office has never looked better … thank you!!

Valerie recently helped us design a family/game room in the basement of our townhouse. We had the games and the walls but not much else. Valerie created a very inviting, beautiful and extremely functional space. We had never worked with a designer before but she made the process easy. She totally got “us” and was respectful of our budget. She coordinated all the construction and deliveries and made sure that everything was perfect. We’ve received tons of compliments on the room and we look forward to many fun parties in our new space.

She also did a “face-lift” on our powder room turning it into an exquisite gem of a bathroom with elegant wallpaper, new fixtures and accessories.

I wouldn’t hesitate to use Valerie on any decorating project in the future. I only wish I had meet her sooner!
