Sometimes, a project isn’t just about creating a beautiful space—it’s about making it happen against the clock.
Recently, we received a call from a wonderful client whose home we have had the pleasure of designing over the years. They had a special request: transform their guest bedroom from top to bottom before family arrived on June 5th. The challenge? Complete the entire project—including design, painting, ordering furnishings, delivery, and installation—in less than four weeks.
We immediately got to work and promised to do everything possible to make it happen.
The Starting Point
The existing guest bedroom had good bones, but it no longer reflected the warmth, comfort, and style found throughout the rest of the home. With guests arriving soon, our goal was to create a welcoming retreat that felt polished, inviting, and completely refreshed.
From the very beginning, every day counted. We finalized the design plan quickly, selected furnishings and décor, and placed orders immediately. Our client was incredibly responsive throughout the process, helping us make decisions efficiently so that no time was lost.
A Team Effort Behind the Scenes
While beautiful interiors often appear effortless in the finished photos, this transformation was truly a collaborative effort.
Thanks to our trusted network of vendors, dedicated craftspeople, hardworking delivery teams, and responsive trades, every piece of the puzzle came together right on schedule. We tracked orders constantly, coordinated deliveries, managed installations, and worked through the inevitable challenges that come with a compressed timeline.
There were plenty of moving parts, but everyone shared the same goal: creating a beautiful guest bedroom before the first visitors arrived.
The Big Reveal
On June 4th—just one day before the guests were scheduled to arrive—we completed the transformation.
The room was completely refreshed with carefully selected furnishings, updated finishes, beautiful accessories, and thoughtful details that elevated the entire space. What was once an ordinary guest bedroom became a comfortable, stylish retreat designed to make every visitor feel right at home.
The final result perfectly reflected our client’s vision while seamlessly complementing the rest of the home.
