2019 Fall/Winter Interior Design Trends

So what’s hot in the interior design world for Fall/Winter 2019?

Color and bold patterns! We have seen the muted tones of the European farmhouse/Paris flea market look propagated by the designers from Restoration Hardware become all the rage for quite a few years now. Don’t worry, that style is still around, but for someone who loves a happy, colorful world, I am delighted to see some brighter pops of color making an appearance. Emerald green, brilliant purples, rich brown tones, deep teals, and navy are the rage for your interiors.

Natural Textures! Chunky boucle and slubbed linen fabrics, woven jute, sisal, and wool area rugs, grasscloth wall coverings, wire-brushed and natural stone add layers of beauty to your overall design.

Palecek

You’ve struck GOLD! Gold and finer finishes are the trend today and have been for several markets now. Brushed or muted sheens are still the way to go.

Nice Shape! Thick architectural pedestal bases on tables and rounded chair backs, as well as curved sofas, will update your look. Geometric forms tempered against organic decoration can give balance and drama to any room.
