Montclair Traditional

Project Overview:

This large Montclair, NJ home with amazing views of New York City was in need of an update.  The clients knew they would be selling their home in a few years and wanted a bright and clean palette for the new design.  They wanted furniture they could take with them to their new home that was neutral enough to work anywhere.  We started by giving them an updated traditional sofa in a white performance fabric that will wear well, a stately tufted leather ottoman anchors the room and brings the depth of color found in the homeowner’s antique furniture into the center of the space.  We reupholstered the client’s formerly pink check bergere chairs in a beautiful dragonfly fabric.  The new lighting, custom window treatments and custom area rug put the finishing touches on this beautiful home.
