Project Overview:

A modern renovation of this Upper West Side Manhattan apartment left us with a blank slate to work with.  The homeowners wanted a contemporary feel without making the room feel small or cold.  We started with the upholstered bed that ingeniously hides storage below the mattress.  A must have in this storage challenged pre-war apartment.  Contemporary lighting was added as well as a small desk that will sometimes be used for work and sometimes as a vanity.  A plush flokati area rug feels amazing under your feet.  Drapery on modern acrylic rods keep them looking light and chic.  Floating shelves custom made for this room provide ample storage and display space. Their custom closet design included drawers and ample hanging for this weekend getaway spot.
